I enjoyed that email muchisimo. I just adore you people I call family! Fun Fact, Mom: In our zone conference Pres. Douglas was talking about using the Book of Mormon in our teaching, and how we should encourage people to read it from the beginning. We read through Chp. 1 together, and analyzed each verse, and he said the same thing about Lehi that you did a couple months back. Isn´t that cool?
This week´s blog is about my recent water adventures! Last week we had a zone service activity that involved asking the fire dept. to cut down some fallen trees in a river and over a waterfall (with chain saws, we can´t use those). We then hauled out the wood and left it to dry so that the barrio can take it for firewood or what not. We also tried to reinforce a rock bridge in the water, but it didn´t really work. I did get to carry a little girl on my back across the water so she could get home from school. I also held a crab, and used a machete! Basically it was the most fun service project ever.
Today we went to the beach in Puerto Plata because our zone had made various monthly goals. It was gorgeous. I collected a TON of sea things. It´s not just a few scattered shells on this beach, there is corral, and sea glass too, and huge sections of the beach are just shells and corral and not sand. The water was really pretty, and it was a lovely day :)
Hope you all have a wonderful week! Love,
