Thanks for that email, they are always a pleasure of course! Careful with that leg, Dad! And........ HAPPY BIRTHDAY DELANEY!!!!!!!!!! I can´t believe you are officially a teen o_O Have a wonderful Jan. 3rd! I love you, birthday girl!
So recently I´ve been working on serving my companion, and being a good companion. Our first few weeks were kind of rough, because we comminucate very differently, very often we are quite litereally talking about something different. For Chrsitmas Sis. Douglas gave everyone the challenge to write 100 things they like about their comp, and give the list as a gift for Christmas. Well, we completed this challenge, and all I can say is that this week was the best one yet, even though we´ve had kind of terrible numbers because of Christmas, and our investigators are all moving. I´m cool with this though--we do our best, the Lord does the rest! We have had more service opportunites this week though, and that is a good thing!Take away message: there is ALWAYS something positive in others even when we butt heads a little., in fact there could be 100 somethings.
Last night, the ward had a talent show, and they asked us missionaries to perform too. The 4 of us learned the cup game, and the elders sang Ï Hope They Call Me on A Mission¨in Spanish. It actually wasn´t too shabby. Tonight we are making paper lanterns as a zone activity and eating hot dogs :) This New Year´s Eve is really special because all of 2015 will be as a missionary, pretty cool.
Happy New Year!
