But things are going well with my comp. She is really sweet, and she pushes me. I think she was sent to help me meet my potential as a missionary. I've only got 6 months left in the mission to do what the Lord has planned for me, so I've got to kick this into high gear. The whole mission is working on changing because the amount of growth has been steadily dropping. We had a really powerful zone meeting on Monday about the power of the message of the Restoration. We did practice lessons, and it was cool to see how every companionship teaches differently, but the Spirit was still there the whole time. We also talked about the example of Paul, and how he was able to preach with power and authority through his dedication. So we talk to EVERYONE, and we started sharing, brief, powerful messages about the Restoration, and we've already seen how people feel the Spirit in that. We meet a man yesterday, and a street preacher came up in the middle of our message, and started sharing his pamphlets, and rattling off something about repentance and left. I think it was a good thing, because you could feel the difference. I'm feeling optimistic. It's easy to get stressed out, when everything rides on you as the comp that has time in the area, but things are going well. Our investigators still aren't progressing, but I have faith that Hna. Brimley was sent here to help out with that.
We went to the beach again today, and that was really fun.
No Dad, we don't really get hurricanes here. Supposedly the mountains block them from entering Monte Cristi. There is also the general absence of rain.
Take care all of you! I love you!
