GUYS. I HAVE LEFT NAVARRETTE. And we had found out about it early because Hna. M. was called to train. Her ´daughter´, and my ´step sister´ is Tongan-Austrailian. FYI, in the mission your trainer is your ´mom´ or ´dad´ and your second comp is your step parent, and the missionary genealogies can be super confusing. I had a ´son´ last transfer because I was the sister with the most time in the district.
Which brings me back to the fact that after 6 months in Navarrete, I am now, this moment, in my second area!......... VILLA GONZALEZ!!! Which is only a 10-15 minute bus ride from Navarrete towards Santiago. I´m in the Cien Fuegos Zone (Hundred Fires) which just sounds super hard-core :)
This little pueblo is super cute from what I have seen. And I like our cute little house. And I already adore my cute little companion HERMANA HARDEN!!!!!We enjoy all the same nerdy things. She´s ´dying´ at the end of this transfer, so I am going to have to learn this area really quickly, but I´m up for it. I am feeling super positive about the move. I had been a little sad about leaving Navarrete, but I think this area is going to be great! We are serving in a branch, and I´m excited to experience something different from our big, strong ward in Navarrete. I´ve heard that the president is very supportive. He only gives the missionaries their blessings when he´s been fasting. Sounds like a dedicated leader. Also, Elder McDonald from my CCM district is here too, and we are all just going to have a blast.
We were cleaning out my new closet today and finding some interesting artifacts from sister missionaries past. My favorite is the Dutch and Creole copies of the Book of Mormon. Just like Elder Calhoun! We also found Harley Davidson wrapping paper and a Peanuts Halloween coloring book (I am keeping that also).
Have a good week everyone, lots of love!
