Monte Cristi does have more tourists for the beach, but it's not a big resort town. It has a lot of old houses and buildings though, and I like that. It has a nice atmosphere. We went to the beach this morning and found two live star fish!
So I'm really happy that I am friends with my comp, in a nice little town, and we get to focus on the work--and still have a great time, because we are happy, positive people. It's interesting, the recent converts and our progressing investigators are all teens here. Teens who are really intelligent and enthusiastic about the gospel.
Well, I'm not going to write much more, so that I can send photos.
Love you all, and thanks for the updates!
Included is Mayor's baptism (I look terrible), Oscar and a salad we made for family home evening, our 'pet' Doki, me and my son Elder Alatini, Hna. Harden and I, and the elders during our kiddie train ride in the mall.
