Well, I'm writing early today because I am making my goodbye visit to Monte Cristi. I came with two other missionaries who served here and are leaving at the end of the transfer too. So I'm not going to write as lot because we have tons of visits to make before we need to leave here at 3.
So wish me luck as I say goodbye to people, becuse it is only just hitting me now that I am leaving them.
We had a Christmas party for the mission (well half of the mission) yesterday. We watched a clip from a Chrsitmas devotional with Pres. Monson when he talked about about "A Christmas Carol" and then we watched that newer Disney version of it, and I liked it alot. It made me think about how Scrooge feels haunted by the death of Tiny Tim because he could have had a part in caring for and saving him. It made me think about doing everything I can to care for the people that I have been given in the mission. I also liked thinking about how everyone of else has the chance to change and repent, no matter how cold we were inside at one time.
Also, the office missionaries made Christmas Jib-Jib videos of themselves and Pres. and Hna. Castillo, and they were pretty hilarious.
So we will be skyping from la Familia Polanco's house at 1 or 2 (YOUR TIME), depending on which hour Hna. Bischoff's family can do it. SEE YOU SOON!!!!!!!!!! :D
Lots of love, cause after all there are only 2 more sleeps till Christmas!!!
