...because you may accidently erase all your photos from the MTC and your first two areas. Moment of silence.
I love your family photo though, that makes me really happy, they turned out so nice! And glad that Thanksgiving was really nice, and Dallin too. Basically everything you told me in those emails is really great, and I am glad to hear it :)
This week we've been blessed a lot to meet some really great people. We are teaching a menos activo and his wife, and she is so intelligent and GETS IT. She understands we aren't here to just 'share the Word' like all the other hundreds of street preachers. She understands the implications of our message, and wants to know that it's true for herself. LOVE IT.
As we were leaving her house a girl called us over to her, saying she thought we could help her. She's 19, has a baby and the father abandoned her, and was severely abused and neglected by her mother when she was a baby. She is full of loneliness, and anger, but wants help. She said she isn't sure that God exists, but she had the faith to call us over. It is such a privilige to serve her in the place of the Savior, and I am so glad she was prompted to stop us.
We got a reference for this young police officer yesterday, and he is the most humble law enforcement officer I have ever met. He gave the closing prayer, and it almost brought me to tears it was so humble, and sincere. He works in our area, but lives in a different one, and I don't want to give him to his respective elders, but we will. Obedience!
Our investigators with baptismal dates are going through some struggles, though. One of them, had severe alcohol poisoning the other night, and we are hoping this will be a wake up call for him, because his obstacle is the alcohol. We're going to see him tonight, and I think everything is going to turn out ok.
Love,
